Mosaic Canyon And Wild Rose Campground

Mosaic Canyon is an amazing place. Polished stone walls so smooth they don't look real.

Emigrant Canyon road was a challenge, going up to 5,300 ft. Emigrant pass and on to Wild Rose Campground. Very remote, very stark and very cold.

First two pics below are at Wild Rose camp. Between 5 and 6 thousand feet. It was about 25 degrees. This place is very remote. Definitely don't want to have an accident here.

Below, Mesquite Sand Dunes, west of Furnace Creek

Next 6 shots below taken in Emigrant Valley, off of Emigrant Valley road. Astounding ride but very remote.

Charcoal kilns are 6 miles past Wild Rose camp. Tried to get there but turned back by bad road and 25 degree temp.
Pics below of Mosaic Canyon.

A handrail for some reason.

Stovepipe Wells is a small village, in the park, that is on CA 190, about 25 miles west of Furnace Creek.
