Happy 2023! 2022 was full of change and challenges for me, and for most of the country. But, we survived and now we have to make the best of this New Year!
Camping at Death Valley Park. It was a challenge getting here and a challenge being here, so far. Shortly before dark, a major wind/sandstorm began that subsided around midnight. I had to park the bike on the side of the tent and secure the tent to the bike. The worst seems over now but everything in the tent is covered with a fine layer of sand.
Supposed to rain this morning but I will try to get out for some pictures. What I have seen so far is certainly imposing and extreme.
On the way to Death Valley. Fog, cold and crazy wind. West of Las Vegas, it got quite cold and the wind was extreme until I got over 5,200 ft. Mountain Springs pass.

Happy 2023 Mary Ellen! Glad you appreciated the music. While I do believe the Lord's blessings are always with us, I find, at times, they are difficult to perceive.
