Arrived at City of Rocks state park, about 30 miles northwest of Deming, NM, on the way to Silver City. Beautiful park and fairly large. Camped amongst the giant rock formations.
Cold again tonight, down to 29. Hopefully temps get back to normal next week.
22:00 Pretty dark sky except in the south, which I'd lit up by, I suppose, Deming. Overhead, I can see the Andromeda Galaxy with averted vision and the same with the Orion nebula. Rock structures are blocking my vision to the north bit I would guess that all of the handle stars are visible for the Little Dipper.
