The beach turned out to be a double edged sword. At sundown, wind died way down, mosquito's came out and the humidity was very high. Miserable night. Back to Lockhart to regroup. Temps hit 101 today with relentless sun. A bit of a challenge, for sure.

I think you headed the wrong direction for your trip, you might want to have a few words with your travel planner, you are supposed to head north in the summer and south in the winter!
